Hello every one,
This is a project that I've been working on for a couple of months part time.
Beeing inspired by Frank Frazetta's amazing paintings I decided to depict an art work in
which, a valiant warrior is passing through an old haunted place facing some evil characters.
Now Im not sure whether or not he breaks ito a fight with these guys so feel free to interpret.
For this piece, I used Maya, Zbrush, Mental ray, Photoshop,shave and haircut...
All the textures were painted using Zbrush per polly painting function and projection master
in combination with basic Photoshop techniques.
I tried not to use any real life textures and painted all the details by hand.

hi every one
when i first saw the dark knight movies posters i really liked them, specially one of them.
so i tried to do something similar. if u do a google image search on dark knight u'll see which one im talking about.
though i did'nt want my character to look like heath ledger...
wanted to do something similar but sort of different.
modeled in maya, z-brush, photoshop, shave and haircut, mental ray.

this character was done base on a sketch from my friend nima( im not sure what his last name is).
thanks to him anyways.
painted all the textres by hand without using any real life texture samples .

hello
this is a project that i did for the sake of practicing human anatomy.
visit my portfolio for some z_brush snapshots from different angles and some of my drawings.
i had no intention of spending too much of time on the surface detail of these characters; merely wanted to focus on the forms and the gesture. so the surface detail thing is just a bonus(lol).

i made this character for my demo reel and i posted the head earlier...
i made some changes in face area and tried to make him look a little bit more angry...
modeled with maya,zbrush,photoshop,mental ray.

hi all
this character was desined by my self and im gonna use it in my demo reel
i modeled it in maya ,detailed in z_brush ,textured in photoshop and zbrush ,and rendered with mentalray.
i used shave and hair cut for the fur on face and the head band . cause i am a little bit more convenient using shave and hair cut rather than maya fur
i modeled the entire character and right now im rendering it in diferent angels and i will post it later.
in the end im not quit happy with lighting and shading cause what i had in mind was some sort of high contrast image with a two sided lighting.

If u take a look at my gallery u'll see that im not a 2d artist. i rather be good at character modelling, texture painting and 3d concept art. but i believe in orther to be good at it, i have to practice 2d as well.
I worked on this one for three hours , just for the sake of practicing.
